ANATOMICAL GIFT ASSOCIATION/DONATION TO SCIENCE

NThe Anatomical Gift Association of Illinois manages the willed body donor program for the medical, research and educational institutions of Illinois. It receives, prepares, preserves and distributes those who choose donation for the purpose of medical education and research at institutions throughout Illinois. Before the Anatomical Gift Association can receive a donation, a funeral establishment must be contacted to transport the decedent from the place of death and to the Anatomical Gift Association as well as secure all necessary authorizations and permits required for donation. The necessary authorization documents required by the Anatomical Gift Association are listed below.
