In the state of Illinois, the Anatomical Gift Association of Illinois (AGA) is the legally authorized agent for procurement, preparation and preservation of remains for the purposes of scientific study. Candidates wishing to donate their remains to AGA must complete a donor enrollment form prior to death, or authorize an agent to perform the enrollment process on their behalf.
