In this new day of mortuary science, I found my calling to serve families with the utmost compassion and grace. I’m Nikkia L. Brown of In Touch Funeral and Cremation Services along with Sunset Cremations, LLC.

In my own personal experience with the loss of a loved one, I felt a lack of empathy and compassion had with my family. I felt deeply that we were “just another job” and that connection; being ‘In Touch’ with my clients is our mission, from beginning to end.

I have solid experience in partnering and coordinating services throughout the Northwest Indiana and Chicagoland area.

I graduated from Worsham Mortuary Science in March 2012 where I received my credentials to pass all state requirements.

Today I am  a Licensed Funeral Director and Embalmer in both Illinois and Indiana serving with dignity and grace.
