Teresa Terry

Teresa Terry, age 73, peacefully left this earth on November 23th, 2022, at St. John Franciscan Hospital. She was born August 21st, 1949, in Elaine, Arkansas to Anner Lee Terry and Willy Terry. She graduated from Phillips high school and continued her education at Kennedy King College.

She worked as a security guard at St. Francis hospital in Evanston, and as a Teachers aid at Little Footprints Childcare Center in Matteson IL. Outside of working she enjoyed spending time shopping at all of her favorite stores, or working out to stay in shape and to display a healthy lifestyle to those she loved, her favorite activities of all were going to the casino, keeping her home clean, and styling herself like a model every time she left the house. 

She is survived by Her Sister, Betty Maddox (Roddis); Her Brother, Johnny Terry (Thelma); Her Daughters, Tosha Terry, Jeanette Terry; Her Grandsons, Cory Terry, Nayshuwn Terry, Xavier Terry; Her Grandaughters, Xenia Terry, Nina Terry; Her Greatgrandson, Ayden; and many cousins, nieces, nephews, family, and friends.

Teresa is preceded in death by her mother and father Anner Lee Terry and Willie Terry; her sisters, Bessie Johnson; Estelle Ruggs; Ida Malone; and brothers, B.B.; Otis; C.J. Terry; L.V. Terry; L.D. Terry; Sr.;James Terry; Jr.;.
