Sylvia V Sims

Sylvia V. Sims, better known as "Vickie" was born on January 12, 1954 to the late Willie A. Charley and Ella L. Nettles in Greensboro, Alabama. She was born again in Christ at the age of 38 and attended Triumph Everlasting Church under Pastor Pauline Hampton whom preceded her in death. She was joined in holy matrimony with John Sims on February 18, 1995. Vickie was a no nonsense retired nurse aide who deeply loved the Lord and her family especially her grands and great grands. 

Vickie happily made her transition from this life on July 19, 2020. Her siblings preceding her are: James "Butch" Horn and Rufus Fair. Continuing in her memory are: her siblings Samuel Fair (Charmaine) and Gezelle Moore Stapleton (Walter); her daughters Tamiko Charley and Breshenda Charley McClinton (Bryan); grandchildren Jasmin Reid, Kristian Hamilton (Rachel), DiAngelo McClinton, Justyn McClinton, Breyanna McClinton; great grandchildren Katelynn Thomas and Makayla Thomas; a host of aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews and cousins.
