Shirley Jackson was born May 29, 1970 In Chicago, IL to the Union of Marlene Joyce Jackson and Freddie L. Jackson who preceded her in death. She loved her brothers Donnell Jackson , Maurice Jackson, and Kevin Jackson all of Chicago,IL.
Shirley gave her life to Christ at an Early age. She joined Nazarene Outreach under the leadership of Bishop Eleanor Banks and they merged with Nazarene of All Nations under the leadership of Pastor Sherman Butler.
Shirley went to Mary C. Terrell Elementary, Chicago Vocational High School as an Accounting Major ,Olive Harvey College, Education. She was a licensed Insurance Agent,Financial Consultant and a Certified Accountant.
Shirley was Educator for more than 25 Year with Chicago Public Schools as well as Private Institutions. She was gifted inworking with special Needs Children. She was The CEO of The W.A.I.T.T Project 501C3 Organization that catered to Children Women and Families. She was Business Owner of the Feminine Style Boutique located on 79th St. Louis for many years. She wasalso a Community Outreach Leader who helped everyone.
She had many talents, best pound cake baker ever, great cook, she loved wrestling, shopping and her favorite color was red. She loved to dress and loved to look good. Shirley had a beautiful smile and infectious personality and was loved by all who knew her.
Shirley was the Orchestrator and a part of support teams of several Youth Dance Ministry Teams including Nazarene Church.
Shirley was an intricate and very important part of Ministry of Dance in the City of Chicago and the Community of Unity Dance presentations with Dr. Mildred C, Harris and her annual Faith Based. Prayer Breakfast for Chicago for more than 8 years.
Shirley was called into Eternity April 11, 2021 She leaves to cherish her memory her three brothers, Donell C Jackson,Maurice Jackson and Kevin C. Jackson. Nieces, Promise Jackson, Lakisha Brumfield, Tamika Kyler, Liretha Evans, Angela Paige and Nephew Thelbert Kyler.
Her God Children, Shekinah, Crystal Lampley and a host of and Family and Friends.
