Prentice T Dobine

Prentice Dobine was born June 2, 1986 in Oak Lawn, IL at Christ Hospital to Darlene Pate and Prentice Dobine, who preceded him in death. He was the youngest of two children. He leaves his older sister, Tara Pate. 

He was raised in Griffith, IN and Hammond, IN. He attended Ready Elementary, Lincoln,  and Morton High School. However, those who know him, know that he would proudly state that he was from "Hessville". 

Prentice was a family man and a loving father to his son Prentice Dobine Jr. Prentice was an outgoing and sociable person, who couldn't go anywhere without seeing someone he knew. He was funny and had the most contagious laugh. He loved to cook, but not as much as he enjoyed eating and trying new food. He was a generous soul, who would do anything for his friends and family. 

Prentice leaves to cherish his memories: one son, Prentice Dobine Jr., :Mother, Darlene Pate; Sister, Tara Pate; Maternal Aunts, Patrice Ward and Tasha Ward;
Paternal Grandmother, Annie Dobine; Paternal Uncles, Charles Dobine, Michael Dobine, and Phillip Dobine; Paternal Aunt, Shernitta Dobine. He leaves a host of nieces and nephews, whom he greatly loved and cherished, Zoltan Murry (Camelia) Jalen Goodson (Gabriella), Javon, Damien, Zamel, Zaiden, Zoltan, Alanah, Jayden, Aubree, and Jacobi.
