Gina was the youngest of six children, bom on April 15, 1959, toHattie Mae Tatum and Willis Lackland in Chicago, Ilinois. She accepted Jesus Christ as Lord and Savior in 2004 alongside her daughter, sister, and nieces.
Gina graduated from Lindblom College PreparatoryHigh School in 1977 and continued her studies at the linois Institute of Technology, receivingan underaraduate degree in Urban and Reqional Planning.
Gina's career included working at The Art Institutes of Chicagofor nearly 20 years as aFinancial Adi Advisorand, in recent years, at the McCormick Theological Seminary as an Administrative Assistant in the Office of Admissions and Enrollment.
Gina was loving, adventurous, jvial, and attentive. She was an avid leamer and enjoved culture, history, theatre, and movies. One of her favorite pastimes induded watching a miniseries and
conversing with her sister Diane about the plot. Gina talked about Jesus with her sister Shind, who led her to accept Him some nineteen years ago. Gina was a foodie and always ready to dine out with her family. During family dinners, she kept the conversation and laughter going.

Gina was preceded in death by Wilis Lackland (father), Hattie Mae Tatum-Lackland (mother), and Ronald Willis Lackland (brother).
