PATRICIA'S EARTHLLY JOURNEY
Patricia Ann Flowers was born on March 21,1941 to the loving union of Clyde and Teleder Harden in Chicago, IL. She was one of nine siblings.
Patricia was a faithful member of Victory Apostolic Church in Matteson, IL where she served for many years. While at Victory Apostolic, she practiced her faith and selflessly volunteered her time by lending her talent and efforts to numerous committees under the pastorate of Senior Pastor Andrew D. Singleton Jr.
As a child Patricia was raised in the church and as an adult, she gladly made the decision to rededicate her life to Christ. In 1990 she accepted Jesus Christ as her Lord and Personal Savior at the Apostolic Church of God in Chicago, IL under the leadership of the late Bishop Arthur M. Brazier.
Patricia received her formal education from George Washington Carver High School and practiced a tradition of lifelong learning by earning advanced professional certificates at Northeastern University as well as Governors State University, both in Illinois.
Patricia was a proud employee of Chicago Public Schools where she worked as a paraprofessional with classroom teachers. Upon retiring from CPS she continued her love for teaching and helping to develop the hearts and minds of young children by becoming a state licensed childcare provider, a profession in which she continued for an additional ten years.
Patricia was the Mother of all Mother's. It was that simple. Each and every one of her children and grandchildren experienced a constant outpouring of relentless, unconditional and overflowing love from her beautiful, skilled and trained hands. Throughout her life, she personified the virtues of grace, love, patience and kindness and was a true woman of God.
Patricia was preceded in death by her late husband Mitchell Flowers, her parents, and seven of her siblings
Patricia leaves to cherish her wonderful lasting legacy: Her daughter La'Kitta Moore-Wallace (Alfred), son Shaun Scott (Vera), Stepdaughter Donna Berry (Reggie), Sister Darlene Lofton, Grandchildren, Brian Moore, Timothy Wallace (La Quantis), Alicia Godbold, Teresa Berry, Donetta Berry, Tanisha, Marcell, Cornell Dorsey and a host of beloved great-grandchildren, nieces, nephews, and godchildren. Also left to mourn are her Victory Apostolic Church family.
