God, in His infinite love, mercy, and wisdom, called Elaine Joy Long home on September 14, 2021.

Elaine was born on January 8, 1944, to Annie Lee White, in Chicago, IL.  She is one of four siblings. Elaine attended Forrestville Elementary School and graduated from DuSable High School. Her previous employers include Spiegel, United Airlines, US Postal Service, and Chicago Public Schools.

Elaine was united in holy matrimony to Marvin Long on June 21, 1965.  To this union 2 children were born:  Lisa & Marvin Jr. Elaine is preceded in death by her loving husband Marvin Long Sr., Mother Annie Lee White, and Sisters Evelyn and Judy. Elaine leaves to cherish her memory:  Daughter Lisa Long-Sinova and Grand-daughters Ashley and Angelic Sinova; Son Marvin Long Jr.; Sister Shirley Brown; and a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives, and friends.
