Obituary

Charles Neal Adams Jr. was born November 5, 1950 in Chicago Illinois to the union of Charles N Adams Sr. and Octavia Beasley Adams. He was the oldest of four children. Charles was born and raised in the heart of the city on the South side.

Charles attended Chicago Vocational Career Academy H.S. (also known as CVS). He was very skilled and well known for his talents and abilities at a young age. Later after graduating, Charles went along to get married and started his family in 1973. To this union three children were born: Mikesia Moore, Martrice Nunn, and Milon Adams.

Charles had a history of working diligently at the family's company (Chase Adams Commercial Printing) where he and his father shared the same workspace. This experience helped him to pursue his passion and dreams which led him to return to school. Here is when he received his Associate's degree in Electronics from Olive Harvey College in 1979. That led him to a long career of operating printing machines, building projects, and doing electrical repair work.

Charles was a man that wore many hats. He enjoyed time with his family & friends and activities that involved using his hands and having a good time. He joined the bowling league in the early 80's and shared a fleet of trophies from his accomplishments. He received the nickname "Ace" from his associates of the bowling league. He was infamous for repairing cars, electronic devices, and doing home remodeling. Later in his life, he began his career with CTA where he served for 10 years and retired in 2016.

Charles N. Adams Jr. was a member of the Elk organization from The Great Lake Lodge #43 in Chicago, IL. He also was committed to his faith with Apostolic Church Of God.

Charles N. Adams Jr . departed from this space of existence on November 27, 2022. Preceding him in death: Charles Adams Sr. (Father), Octavia Beasley Adams (Mother), Linya Adams and Arleya Adams (Sisters), Glen Adams (Brother), Michael Cross (Grandson), and Detrianna Nunn (Granddaughter)

He leaves to mourn his daughters: Mikesia Moore and Martrice Nunn, and son Milon Adams; Grandchildren: Brian Jr., Deshawn, Tanaeya, Christian, Michael, Terrence, Jason, Anijah, Detrianna, and DeAndrea. Great Grandchildren: Treasure, Chistopher, Harmony, Dai'yonna, Yazmin, and a host of family and friends.
