Life Reflections of

Mr. Anthony D. Bolden

Anthony Dwaine Bolden was born on the west side of Chicago, Illinois on May 1, 1960 to Brenda Bolden and Eddied Jones. Anthony was the first of five children (whereas both parents preceded him in death).

Tony had an amazing love for his mother and grandmother, Julia McKenzie (who preceded him in death).

Tony attended Anton Dvorak, Beidler and Morton Grammar Schools, where he graduated and then attended John Marshall High School Tony had a love for karate, playing the guitar and truck driving.

Tony became a father of 4 children.

Tony relocated to San Diego, California, where he worked in Security.

Tony also became part of the Masonic Family, while residing in California.

Tony retired as a Bus Driver in California.

On December 25, 2023, Anthony's daughters and little sister brought him back home to Chicago, IL. His daughter, Lisa took on the role of caring for her dad until his passing. Whereas the doctors in California said his health was failing fast, but God saw fit to give him a race to run another whole year and 30 days.

Anthony Dwaine Bolden was summoned to take his rest on January 30, 2025. Tony leaves cherished memories to: his 4 children, Lisa, Lajoya, Tatiana and Anthony Jr.; 1 grandson, Xavier, who truly loved his grandpa; 2 sisters, Rita and Jotonya; 2 brothers, Gervase and Eddie Jr. (Kim); 5 nieces, Monique (Dave), Diamond, Carla (Jermaine), Carlette and Destiny; 1 nephew, Quasha (who preceded him in death); 3 aunts, Billie Ann, Karen and Pat; 1 uncle, Jerome; 5 great nephews and 2 great nieces; and 2 great great nephews. To my friends Robert Hawkins, Donnie Harris, Robert Tucker, Larry Harris who preceded him in death. I hope to see you on the other side, until then embrace and cherish our friendship. Anthony extends his love and cherished memories to a host of other relatives, and friends.
